Danger's DenSeptember 25 Loss of LifeLoss of life
Who would have thought that someone such as me: hardcore gamer, aggressive, don’t take nothing from no one me; would be so torn about the loss of life this week.
I was riding home from work- a little sleepy (graveyard shift) and as I am about 8 minutes from my home on a main highway; a cat decides to cross. By the time I saw it, it was too late. I hit the poor creature and felt it crumble under the power of my vehicle, as my car kept on rolling. Even now the thought hurts my soul. I see carcasses everyday on my way to work a squirrel or raccoon here, a dog or cat there but to be the one to take its life is so sad. I had a very pissy week last week and for this to happen really was the straw to break the camel’s back. Why am I writing this- I don’t know but maybe the poor creature will forgive me if I acknowledge what I have done. That just makes me wonder about those who take a Human life. I mean life is life but to take the life of a creature who thinks and reasons and is of higher intelligence wow, what kind of a person is that? I am hurt from the little creature I killed (unintentionally but killed none the less). So anyway if you have encountered something like this let me know how you felt or feel about it. I guess I do have a sensitive side and I am more girly than I thought. I am gonna name the little cat Tabby and say a few words.
Tabby I hope you are resting in peace and in the next life do not play around freeways or roads. I hope the cat afterlife is a better place than here. June 24 Hello GamersHello - I hope this finds you well!

I guess this is somewhat true. The questions are black and white for me but maybe it is correct I don’t know. I have written how I feel about love http://poetry.com/Publications/display.asp?ID=P7811656&BN=999&PN=1 The quiz is interesting. Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others. Day 1: Tuesday may 9th
Nothing like gaming in mid air! I was completely ecstatic about going to L.A. for E3. I over-packed but what woman doesn't? The flight was great. I mean anytime you land instead of drop that is a great flight. So I get off the plane and immediately call my girls to link up. We had a shuttle waiting for 9 of us. 3 of our part had yet to land so in the mean while we giggled , squealed, gamed, chatted, giggled some more and squealed again every time another member of the clan joined the group. It was pretty sick but so much fun. It was great to meet for the first time: Sagaciouz, Em, Peach, Rambo Rachel, Rip (an H2O) and I got to see Somegirl and Feday again! We all loaded into the shuttle and headed to the hotel. Our shuttle driver was a hoot! I would have preferred it if he paid attention to the road whilst driving but I am still alive so I suppose it could have been worse. On the way to the hotel we past by the E3 convention center, and all talking stopped. Everyone's gazed shifted to the huge building adorned in videogame paraphernalia and the masses gathered for worship. I think we may have shed a tear. For a gamer's first time it was spiritual. After picking our jaws up off the shuttle's seat we proceeded to the hotel. We threw our stuff down and gabbed a bit before deciding to go bowling. Many of us got food and watched the some fellow clan-mates; some Fragdolls, the Twins, and H2Os go at it. I personally kept getting my @$$ handed to me by the computer in Street Fighter - I thought Chun Li had my back - stupid l3!+(# Ooops did I say that out loud? Anyway so I left early from the bowling alley so that I could rest and be ready for the following day. It was kind of like Christmas when you want to go to sleep so that morning will arrive quickly. Ah sleep... Day2: Wednesday 10th (1st official day of the Expo)
What a welcome- my chopper was waiting for me! We all had to get up to prepare for the work that would be expected of us. We received badges from sponsors to help at the booth. So many of us cruised the show floors handing out flyers and telling people about the services and products available. It was amazing to get sneak peaks of all the great gaming stuff that will be coming out. There was no way that I could see everything that I wanted to so I had to get the daily news magazines (great job to www.next-gen.biz for keeping E3 goers informed) and pick and choose what booths I wanted to hit up. Celebs such as Bill gates and that bimbo Paris Hilton were in attendance for day 1(she may have wanted to stay home after her major blunder but she probably to this day doesn't know that she screwed up). So many games so little time. The highlights for day 1(and the previous unofficial days) were: Nintendo- 27 playable Wii games w/ Zelda included. Microsoft XBOX 360- new games Gears of War and Halo3 teaser. Sony- revealed pricing of PS3 ($499 & $599 [OUCH!]) and new controller capabilities (that they ripped from Nintendo [so much for originality]). Konami is at it again with the newest DDR. They have even teamed up with 24 Hour Fitness for fitness; including kids and adults alike. Casual Gaming is on the rise in a major way with big boys such as EA and THQ showing great interest. XBOX Live also gets props in this area for the 360 arcade fueling the fire for console gamers to get into casual gaming. Unreal Tournament 2007 presentations were outstanding. But I digress. After the Expo we waited for them to close the main hall and set up for the XBOX LIVE Community Party. When they were ready the XBOX crew fed us, gave us ale, swag and free reign of their turf to play their upcoming games. Games such as Ninety-Nine Nights [the hawtness]um guess what there were others but I can't remember them cause I was suck on this one- oops. That was pretty much what we did for the night. OH I almost forgot! There were a series of raffle drawings that went on for the duration of the party. Yours truly won the grand finally prize of a TeamXBOX 360 faceplate and a gift certificate that was enough to cover the new 360 I now own THANK YOU XBOX! I am still giddy about it. After that party which ended at around 9:30pm a few clan-mates chose to go to the Best Buy party. I myself did not because I spent all of my energy enduring the expo that day and what little I had left was consumed jumping up and down with Cori when I won the prize. That alone made the trip more than worth while. So needless to say by then I was pretty much through- stick a fork in me I'm done! Day3: Thursday 11th
Second verse same as the first. I got up early to work at the booth. Many a consumer and retailer were interested in the products/services so it made the day go by quickly. I also got the chance to meet 50cent along with Cori and the Gameshout crew. check out their interview After that day at E3 we ended up gping to the Bungie Party. It was quite nice out by the pool that evening. We had great conversations with the people there. Jaime Griesemer was a sweetheart. Day4: Friday 12th
This was the last day of the Expo. I was a bit sad but even more exhausted. That place is draining; wonderful but draining. The show closed earlier that the other days at 4pm so I bounced out early from my post at around 3:15pm to see what I could, but alas most of the booths were closing or closed. I caught a glimpse of Mortal Combat Armageddon, Spy Hunter: No Where to Run featuring that fine specimen - The Rock! I soooooooo wanted to hit up the Lucas arts booth - I heard that it was straight coolness- I mean c'mon of course it was! The entire show I wanted to hit up the Nintendo booth- who didn't? But a 3-5 hour wait made that impossible. To make a long story short I didn't get to see much of anything. However, just seeing what I did and participating in the experience was too cool. So the Expo was finished and we had a little time to spare before our night activities. We sat around flipping out over the Expo and caught a bite to eat. My guys from Gameshout.com came to pick up Cori and myself so that we could head to a house LAN party. Raymond's Herrera of Fear Factor/3volution was such a wonderful and hospitable host. He fed us and we gamed for quite a while before having to leave and go to the Microsoft party. This was the "dress up" MS party in which Crystal Method were on the 1's and 2's. There were games all around the dance floor so if you got tired of dropping your foot you could go sit and game. It was a blast. Once again those XBOX folks can throw a party. There wasn't enough booty music for Peachy and Cori but we shook our thangs anyway (that is a lot of shakin' I might add). My boy xxACExx held it down on the dance floor with my chicas Trixie and Elle, while my other Bro-ham Rednex was my drinking buddy. So again there was gaming, drinking, and dancing- It don't get no gooder! Day 5: Saturday 13th
PMS DAY AT DISNEYLAND What a day as if we weren't already beat from the previous day we all thought it would be a great time to hang out at Disneyland. It was a lot of fun not having any obligations. The opportunity to get better acquainted with the girls I don't know very well was nice. I also got to meet my H2O for the very first time and he took great care of me. He was such a gentleman and so darn funny. Hatori- I <3 U! The lines were long but chatting helped the time to fly by. We had such a large group that we didn't get to ride too many coasters. We hit up Space Mountain Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain. A few of us disbanded to cover more ground. Poor Steel Onimusha was dying for some healthy eats and it wasn't until we got to break away from the group that we found some grilled chicken for my buffed bro. Myself Hatori and Steel got to ride 4 rides (Tower of Terror, Soaring over California, California Screamin.) and that made my 60 ticket worth while. After the fireworks at around 9-ish Hatori was kind enough to drive us to our next destination (can you believe there was more)? We left the park so we could go to a LAN center - Howies Game Shack. Once again it was right nice; equipped with comfy audio gamer chairs and Pc stations for the WOWers. We partook in a few interviews and gamed til 3am. At that time we made it back to the hotel (which was about 2 hours away from Howie's Game Shack) in just enough time to see off our friends with early flights. I went to sleep and by the time I laid my head down it was time to rise but there was no shining here. Myself and Athena met up with Tart and Twin so that we could all get a ride to the airport.Tart and I flew continental so we parted from the Twins and checked in. This was the only sour part of the trip. I had an e ticket and checked in fine but Tart had paid $200 to change her flight a few days earlier. She received confirmation that her flight was scheduled for around the same time as mine but the Airline had no record of it. Her email confirmation was correct on her laptop but there was no way to get it out for proof for several reasons: 1) her laptop was low on power. 2) There was no internet available at the counter. 3) Internet was available upstairs but you had to have a boarding pass 4) you can't get a boarding pass without confirmation # and ticket info. So basically she was screwed. To make matters worse our flights were delayed due to the weather. The Airline reps were completely rude and unsympathetic to the situation. They said that there was nothing they could do and that Tart was S.O.L. After pleading then getting angry we decided that there was more than one way to skin a cat. There was a simple solution after we were able to calm down. I went through security to go upstairs. I found a plug got on the I-net called Tart for her log on info and found the email confirmation from the airline. I copied and pasted it and went back downstairs to give it back to her so that she could have proof and get some things done. Once we had that they had no choice but to give her a flight but she still had to wait til 1am that night to catch a flight out because of the delays. Anyway we both killed time upstairs chatting and surfing the web. My flight left out and I was home at 4:30 am the next morning as opposed to the 11:30pm I should have been home. It was all worth the botch up at the end of the trip. As comic book guy from the Simpsons says "Best trip ever!"
